John R. C. Porter is a billionaire, serial entrepreneur and businessman, who is the grandson of Sir Jack Cohen, the founder of Tesco, and the son of Dame Shirley Porter.
John is the founder of the Telos Group. Mr. Porter serves as Chairman of i-spire PLC. Mr. Porter served as Chairman of Telos Group, specialising in enterprise and Web integration for the purposes of business process generation. Since 1985, he served as Chairman of Verifone Inc., which he co-founded. He served as an Executive Chairman of Redbus Interhouse plc from April 2000 to March 31, 2003 and served as its Director from January 2000 to March 31, 2003. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at The Dignity Fund, L.P.
He serves as a Director of The Bionomics Institute and AZTherapies, Inc. He serves on the Advisory Board of Oxford Business School. He served as a Non Executive Director of Algol SpA from 1997 to April 28, 2005 and VeriFone Systems, Inc. since 1985. He served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at GrandVision S.A. He served as a Director of Gemini Israel Funds. He served as a Director of Redbus Interhouse plc, from January 2000 to March 31, 2003.
